How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. It is easy to do this by removing the propeller shaft from the motor shaft. Then remove any wires and take a look at the motor's inner workings. If you find something wrong, it is time to identify the problem.

If there is no damage to the motor, then you don't have to worry too much however if the motor looks like one of these images below, then you'll need to replace some components before you can fly again.

Suppose a motor has been bent up so it won't turn anymore. You will need to bend it back into shape. You could use a vice grip or a pair of pliers to hold the motor while bending it back into shape. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Now you are ready to fly your drone!
